Bobby Shuttleworth Debut with NE REVS GSA's Bobby Shuttleworth was called into action for the New England Revolution when their starting goalkeeper with down with an injury in the 39th min vs. the New York Red Bulls. Bobby had a solid performance between the pipes and made a huge save on the first shot that he faced. Bobby's strong performance has waranted him the starting job in the REVS next upcoming games. |

GSA 2010 Summer Camp Dates The GSA Goalkeeper Summer Camps are designed for both boys and girls ages 8-18, who have an interest or play the goalkeeper position. GSA camps are challenging and high demands are placed on players in relation to age. While players do not need any experience to attend GSA camps, they definitely should exhibit the desire to participate in fast paced and challenging training Week I: July 12-15, 2010 Week II: July 19-22, 2010 HS and College Prep Week: August 9-12, 2010 Click here for more GSA camp information

GSA's 1st Annual Goal Keeper Wars Tournament GSA is pleased to annouce that it will be hosting it 1st Annual Goalkeeper tournament on Saturday July 17, 2010. Goalkeepers ages 8- 18 and an open division, will have the chance to compete aganist each other in the popular goalie war style game. Goalkeepers will be broken up into age groups and will play tournament style, with the top players from each bracket moving onto the playoffs. Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place winners in every age bracket. Space is limited, and all registrations must be submitted no later than Friday, July 9th. Date: Saturday July 17, 2010 Who: All Goalkeepers Ages 8-18, and their will also be an open division Where: Dicaprio Park, Guilderland, NY. CONGRATULATIONS TO GSA'S ERIN KELLY AND RENAE CAIRNS Erin Kelly and Renae Cairns have recently signed their National Letters of Intent to play collegiate soccer. Erin Kelly will be attending local Division I program Siena College, while Renae will be heading south to Division I Davidson College.

Looking For Goalkeeper Training ? GSA Provides Goalkeeper Training for Boys and Girls Ages 8-18 Year Round!!! Game Saving Academy goalkeeper training is designed for both boys and girls who have an interest in or currenlty plays the goalkeeper position. Through GSA's fun and instructional training enviroment, players of all abilities, from the new goalkeepers to those who have trained with GSA for years, will find appropriate challenge and will develop the skill sets and mentalitly needed to succeed in the position. Each session will consist of training geared toward addressing the physical, psychological, technical and tactical demands of the position. While players do not need any experience to attend GSA training sessions, they definitely should exhibit the desire to participate in fast paced and challenging training! |
